The website is in development and racing towards the finish line, and even though the site cannot yet be used, hotel managers already have the possibility of adding their hotel’s information to our database! Their information will be available the very moment the site launches.
Problem is: how do the hotel managers add this information to our database? Luckily, the answer, as well as actually adding data, is simple!
Firstly, hotel managers will need login information to gain access to http://backstage.drooms.nl/: the hotel management section of the site. Receiving login information is easier than you might think. We are currently establishing contact with a selection of hotels by phone. If your hotel is amongst this selection, you will sooner or later hear from us. Everything will be a breeze from there on out. Alternatively, you can establish contact with us. Secondly, after logging in, hotel managers will be able to manage every bit of information concerning their individual hotels. More importantly however, they will be able to add rooms to our database.
When users of the final hotel portal use the search functionality, they will be searching for specific beds or bed types. We will deliver search results based on the matching rooms of every hotel in the database. Eventually, the user will be provided with an overview of hotels. These hotels can offer the bed the user was looking for in de first place. Also, we provide the contact information for every hotel. This way, the user will have no problems contacting the hotel with the bed he is looking for.
Adding the hotel rooms is easy enough. First, a hotel room is described in a simple form. After that, beds can be specified per room. Of course, only the rooms with quality beds will need to be described and the beds therein specified. Luckily, explaining exactly where to click and what to is not necessary at all, because the entire process is guided and clear. Having problems nonetheless? No worries: we have written a user manual that guides hotel managers through the entire process, step-by-step. This way, every question should be provided with an adequate answer.
